How to sell without selling?

Hey everyone, Gareth here from Exposed Wolf and welcome to another blog post. Today I want to talk about how to sell without selling.

That’s right. I’ve been doing a lot of networking recently and a lot of people who I’m speaking to there about video content, they’re saying yeah, but if we don’t sell, how are we going to get our message across and things like that. But if you provide people with regular quality, valuable content, then they will start looking into you. They’ll get to know you, and you won’t even need to sell. The customers will actually come to you.

Don't sell

In this day and age, nobody wants to be sold to. We’re getting bombarded with so much content that you need to stand out from the crowd and you need to be an authority figure. So don’t worry about making some hero video where you tell everyone how good you are and how you can help save them thousands of pounds and all that, just get out there, provide valuable quality, consistent content, and the clients will come to you.

Stats show that we need to spend seven to eight hours with someone before we’ll decide to buy from them or not. So by putting videos out there as I have, you’re getting to know me without me having to physically be in front of you. I’ll be showing up in your newsfeed, I’ll be providing quality content and you’ll get to know me. And then down the track, if you decide to shoot some videos yourself, you’re more than likely going to come to me because you’ve seen what I’ve been doing.

Psychologically, if people give you something, you want to give them something back, so hopefully you’ll give me a call. And don’t be afraid to put yourself out there in front of the camera. It’s not as scary as it seems.

Just don’t sell to people!
