With the announcements of the phase 4 lockdowns in Melbourne, I thought this would be a good opportunity to go into what we are doing in Sydney to keep everyone safe during our shoots.
Lockdown means that more people are going online to seek out information, to educate themselves on various matters and to make informed decisions about purchases. This is your time to step up as a business and become front and centre. Online courses are HUGE right now. People are reassessing their life and career during these tough times. If you are a trainer, a consultant or similar then you could be taking advantage of this boom.
But you may be concerned about your health and are hesitant to arrange a shoot. Well, we have you covered. Here are just some of the things we are rolling out to keep everyone safe.
Masks.
All our staff are required to wear masks at all times. Everyone in the room will be masked apart from the presenter. The presenter will be informed by our crew when it is safe to remove the mask. The masks are triple-layered to ensure maximum safety. We also only use minimal crew numbers. For an online presentation video, you would typically only need a videographer and the presenter, you.
Sterilised Equipment
All our camera equipment is cleaned and sterilised before and after each shoot. Our videographer will set up all the cameras, sound and lighting without you even needing to be in the room. That way you can safely walk in and do your thing. We can also provide a sterilised studio space if required.
Safe Distancing
The beauty of our professional equipment means that we can keep distances over 1.5m with ease. We use radio lapel microphones for clean and crisp audio. This will be sterilised for you and your videographer can explain to you how to fit it at a distance. If you are not confident handling the equipment then we can use a Boom microphone which will allow safe distancing. We also use zoom lenses so the camera can be away from you. We provide a teleprompter to make remembering scripts a breeze and make you look like a real professional.
Thermometer and health check
Anyone on set will have their temperature checked with an infrared thermometer and asked a series of health-related questions. We will also make sure each attendee has the CovidSafe App activated.
Hair and make up
Unfortunately, during these challenging times, we are asking anyone on camera to do their own hair and makeup. It is not safe for makeup artists to be so close to talent for extended periods of time. Having your hair and makeup done will make you feel more confident and relaxed on camera.
Zoom Calls
We are also looking at a number of other different ways to help businesses during this time. Do you want to work from home but still look professional. We can send out an expert to show you how to get the most from your Zoom calls. We can set up lighting, audio and background to really make you stand out. You can hire our equipment or we help you use what you have around the house.
Live Streaming
This is exploding right now. Conferences and corporate films are all moving online. Our state of the art equipment means you can still hold your event and reach your audience in real-time. Your customers want information. They want to know what you are up to. Now is the time for you to reach them on a personal level so they get to know, like and trust you.
Repurposing older footage
Worked with us before or have some existing footage of your business in action? Our editors can craft a new story from your footage and make it relatable to whichever subject you choose. We can add graphics and titles and give it a new lease of life!
Animated explainer videos
Perfect for these times we are in. No humans need to meet. We can create animated videos that explain what your business is about, what your new products are. What your business is doing to help people make it through Covid. The possibilities are endless!
So there you have it. We are stocked up and well prepared. We all need to work together to maintain a safe and healthy working environment to stop the spread and flatten the curve.
